Q. How much is the investment?
A. That depends on what amount fits comfortably into your budget. The Lake Norman Region Economic Development Corporation offers five levels of participation:

Q. How is my investment used?
A. The money you invest is used directly in marketing the Lake Norman region. The LNREDC markets the region by attending trade shows and conferences focused on target market industries and by working directly with companies considering locating in the Charlotte region. We work closely with the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce’s economic development division and the Charlotte Regional Partnership as well as the NC Department of Commerce.
Q. When is my investment due?
A. That’s up to you. You simply designate what month you wish to make your contribution and we will send you a reminder during the preceding month.
Q. Is my investment tax deductible?
A. Yes. The Lake Norman Regional Economic Development Corp. is a 501(c)3 organization under the IRS code. All private contributions are tax deductible.
A. The LNREDC holds investors meetings twice a year to keep investors informed about the organization. We also publish a quarterly newsletter to keep investors up to date on the activities and announcements of the EDC. Investors at the Chairman’s Club level are eligible to hold a seat on the EDC board of directors. In addition, we have committees that meet periodically throughout the year.
